Mystery Box
Mystery Boxes are lottery chests from which you draw random rewards based on rarity. With a key, you can narrow the pool to higher tiers of rewards for one opening — and for every 10 opened boxes, you receive a random key for free. Here you will find an overview of currently available boxes, exact chances for keys, and where each box can be obtained.
How Mystery Boxes Work
By opening a box, you draw a random reward from several tiers of rewards — the higher the rarity of the box, the better the pool. Before opening, you can use a key: this focuses the reward pool on higher tiers for one draw, guaranteeing you a better pull. Note — all keys except the common (Common) are consumed upon use.
- Each box opening also adds progress towards receiving a random key: after 10 opened boxes, you will receive a random key.
- The type of key that drops from the payout depends on the rarity of the box — exact chances can be seen in the information window of each box (and in the table below).
- Any type of key can open any mystery box — the rarity of the key and the box do not have to match.
Keys and Chances of Obtaining Them
There are four types of keys: common (Common), rare (Rare), epic (Epic), and legendary (Legendary). The inventory is limited — you can hold a maximum of 20 rare, 10 epic, and 5 legendary keys at a time; common keys have no limit. The chance of which key drops from the payout for opening depends on the type of box:

Seasonal boxes have already been removed from rotation, but the table shows why it was once worthwhile to accumulate them — a 5 % chance for a legendary key is the highest that boxes have ever offered.
Which Boxes You Can Currently Encounter
The offer of boxes changes with updates. In the current rotation, there are:
- Legendary Bronze / Silver / Gold Mystery Box — the main series of individual event rewards
- Rare Bronze / Silver / Gold Rift Box — boxes from the Rift Raid event and from the Master Blacksmith
- Small Dragon Chest and Big Dragon Chest — dragon chests
- Granite Mystery Box (Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary) — from the jackpot of the Wheel of Unimaginable Affluence
In contrast, seasonal boxes (spring, summer, autumn, and winter, each in four rarities) and the old series of Bronze/Silver/Gold boxes in Common, Rare, and Epic rarities have been retired.
