Glory Tower
The Glory Tower is one of the cheapest sovereign tools and also one of the most effective siege tools overall. It reduces the combat strength of ranged defenders by 20% and adds +1% to the glory points earned. It can be upgraded ten times, and with each level, the limit of pieces per wave increases.
What the Glory Tower Does
The Glory Tower is a siege sovereign tool with a combo effect, meaning it does two things at once. First, it weakens defense – it reduces the combat strength of ranged defenders. Second, it adds glory – it increases the number of glory points earned from battle.
This combination makes it a favorite among glory collectors. With one slot in the wave, you simultaneously break through the defense and extract more glory from each attack, which is invaluable in the pursuit of glory titles.
Where It Is Produced and For What
The Glory Tower is built in the siege workshop starting from level 4. It is produced cheaply: 1 saw and 1 metal plate for one Glory Tower, so 80 saws and 80 metal plates yield 80 pieces. This is one of the reasons why it is among the cheapest sovereign tools.
It can be upgraded ten times in the Hall of Legends, with a cost of 60 sceats for each level of upgrade. Each level improves the effect and increases the limit of pieces per wave.
Effect by Levels
As the level increases, the combat strength of defenders decreases significantly, and the glory bonus increases. The limit per wave grows along with the level from 20 to 30 pieces.
- Level 1 – -20% strength of ranged defenders and +1% glory, limit 20 pieces per wave.
- Level 5 – -24% strength and +1% glory, limit 24.
- Level 6 – -25% strength and glory bonus increases to +2%, limit 25.
- Level 10 – -29% strength and +2% glory, limit 29.
- Level 11 (max) – -30% strength of ranged defenders and +3% glory, limit 30 pieces per wave.
The glory bonus thus increases in steps: +1% up to level 5, +2% from level 6, and a full +3% up to the maximum level 11.
Why to Deploy It
The Glory Tower is cheap, strong against defenders, and also generates glory, making it a staple in almost every attack wave focused on glory. The combo effect means that one slot performs the work of both a siege and a glory tool at the same time.
Increasing the limit from 20 to 30 pieces is as important during upgrades as the percentage itself – more towers in the wave means a greater overall impact on defense and the amount of glory gained. Due to the cost-effectiveness ratio, it is one of the first sovereign tools worth maxing out.
