Legendary Levels (70+)
Reaching level 70 marks the end of classic leveling, and the game switches you to a second, much longer system: legendary levels. There are 950 of them, where you collect legendary experience instead of regular experience, and your legendary level is displayed below the main seventy, so everyone can see it on the map. At the same time, the game moves you to a separate leaderboard of legendary players. For each level, you receive 60 rubies, and gradually, the complete endgame opens up: Hall of Legends, Relic, kingdom resources, Kingdom League, Outer Kingdoms, and finally, dragon content for Castle level 8.
How Legendary Levels Work
The legendary system has 950 levels and works similarly to the basic one: you gather the required XP, level up, and receive a reward. There are three differences:
- You collect legendary XP - regular experience no longer counts after reaching level 70.
- For each legendary level, you receive 60 rubies. For all 949 level-ups, that amounts to about 57,000 rubies - a decent long-term income.
- You compete in a new leaderboard only against other legendary players.
The XP requirements increase surprisingly mildly: the first level-up costs 4,095 XP, and even the very last levels only require around 13,100 XP. In total, to reach level 950, you need 10,483,310 legendary XP. So it’s not about an exponential wall like in other games - it’s purely about persistence and how much XP you can generate daily.
What Unlocks Immediately with the First Legendary Level
Transitioning to level 70 (legendary 1) is one of the biggest turning points in the game. Suddenly, you receive:
- Hall of Legends level 1 - a key building with legendary skills.
- Relic level 1 - enchanting relic equipment.
- Iron Mine level 1 - iron ore as a new kingdom resource, plus Research Tower 4, Glass Furnace 11, and Tower 5.
- The ability to store and send kingdom resources (iron ore, charcoal, olive oil, and glass) between kingdoms.
- An expanded Master Blacksmith and Wheel of Unspeakable Wealth.
- Two major endgame systems: Kingdom League and Outer Kingdoms.
At legendary level 10, the first legendary decorations (Garden of Grandeur, Spirit of Nature, Thorn Dancer) will be added, and at level 100, the decoration Castle Garden.
How Much XP You Will Need
Reference table of total legendary XP. Note that the increase to the next level is almost flat - long-term, expect around 10,000 to 13,000 XP per level:
| Legendary Level | Total XP | XP to Next Level |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 0 | 4,095 |
| 50 | 312,675 | 7,521 |
| 100 | 716,900 | 8,572 |
| 250 | 2,138,512 | 10,196 |
| 500 | 4,882,599 | 11,629 |
| 750 | 7,912,127 | 12,560 |
| 950 | 10,483,310 | end (maximum) |
Each level-up = 60 rubies, without exception from level 2 to 950.
Milestones Worth Knowing
Most levels only unlock another tier of the Hall of Legends or legendary production buildings. However, these milestones change the game:
| Legendary Level | What Unlocks |
|---|---|
| 1 | Hall of Legends, Relic, Iron Mine, Kingdom League, Outer Kingdoms, resource transfer |
| 150 | Wall 6, Castle Gate 6, Mill 4 |
| 250 | Tower 6, Moat 2, Castle Moat 2, Quarry 5 |
| 451 | Command Center 7-12 (a big leap for commander-led attacks) |
| 550 | ceiling of the Hall of Legends - 550th and final skill point |
| 650 | Castle 6 (through research in the Hall of Legends for scats) |
| 660 | Honey area, Relic Beehive, Relic Brewery - start of the honey economy |
| 665-705 | Barracks 14-15, Military Hospital 11, Wall/Tower/Castle Gate 7, moats 3 |
| 750 | Wall, Tower, and Castle Gate 8, moats 4 |
| 785 | Castle 7 (for scats) |
| 790-815 | Refinery, Market 9, Toolmaker, Siege and Defense Workshop 4, Research Tower 5 |
| 950 | requirement for Castle 8 (for imperial ducats) - dragon era: Dragon's Treasure, Dragon Breath Forge, Barracks 16-20 |
Note: from level 650 onwards, the legendary level only meets the requirement - the actual unlocking is then paid for with scats or imperial ducats in the sovereign skill tree of the Hall of Legends.
Legendary Economy and buildings that grow with you
Alongside the milestones, higher tiers of legendary production buildings gradually unlock as you level up - always one every few levels:
- Iron Mine, Forest Lodge, Stonemasonry, and Granary - each up to level 30 (the last tiers around legendary level 483-495).
- Ironworks - up to level 10 (legendary level 448).
- Hall of Legends - one building level for each legendary level, up to the ceiling of 550.
This is why it pays off to continuously upgrade production buildings: every neglected tier means slower production of kingdom resources, which you will then pour into the Hall of Legends and Relic by the tons.
How to Level Up Quickly
Proven ways to rack up legendary XP:
- Nomad Invasion - raiding the khan's camp gives kingdom resources and XP, plus iron ore from nomad camps. With time jumps from the Master Blacksmith, you can easily gain several levels during one invasion.
- Quest No Time for Weaklings - gather 40,000 glory in attacks (Empire Wars, Bloodcrows invasions, or player attacks) to unlock further levels faster.
- XP skills from the Hall of Legends - Wealthy in Experience (+20% XP from attacks), Builder (+50% XP from buildings and upgrades), and Seasoned (+30% XP from defenses) stack and make a huge difference over time.
- Building and Upgrading - even building gives XP, so plan large construction projects only after unlocking the Builder skill.
