Outer Realms

The Outer Realms is a special event on a temporary server available after reaching level 70. Players from around the world compete here for rewards based on their leaderboard placement. Since December 2023, a crossplay version is available, where players from Goodgame Empire and Empire: Four Kingdoms compete against each other.

Outer Realms

Environment of the Outer Realms

The Outer Realms brings together players from all servers, meaning you can compete against players from different countries. For example, a player from GB1 can fight against a player from DE1 or RU1. In the crossplay version, player names are displayed with the server designation, for example: Player_EP_GB1 for Empire and Player_E4K_DE2 for E4K.

Start of the Event

Players start at level 11 with several buildings already constructed. Before entering the Outer Realms, they must choose one of three available packages. At the bottom of the castle, there are three camps: Armorer, Traveling Merchant, and Equipment Merchant, who offer goods for coins or rubies at better prices than usual.

Available Packages

  • Pioneer's Outpost (Free)
  • Royal Keep (19999 rubies)

Rating System

In the Heritage Hunter system, players earn points by collecting Heritage points through attacking other castles. In the Snappy Swap system, points are earned by attacking castles with higher ratings. A successful attack on a higher rating means a swap of ratings between players.

Camps and Merchants

At the bottom of the castle, there is an Armorer, Traveling Merchant, and Equipment Merchant. The Armorer offers tools and strong units, the Traveling Merchant exchanges rubies for coins and resources, and the Equipment Merchant has limited sets of commanders and castellan for coins or rubies.

Pro player tipAlways keep an eye on your Heritage points and be prepared for massive attacks if you become a target of active players.
Common mistakeMany newcomers underestimate the importance of strong defense, leading to frequent resource losses.
