Nationality Cup (Nobility Contest)

The Nationality Cup, now more commonly known as the Nobility Contest (the competition for the favor of King Ludwig), is a continuous event that runs practically all the time after reaching level 10. King Ludwig gives you a task in one of eight categories, and as you collect points, you move the indicator to the right towards rewards and leaderboard placement.

How the event works

You can find the Nobility Contest in the Events Overview outside the castle; it runs continuously and does not apply to outposts. You have two sources of rewards at the same time:

  • Points on the bar unlock fixed rewards as you surpass individual thresholds.
  • Leaderboard placement of your age/level group adds a second set of rewards based on how high you finish.

The task always falls into one of eight categories, and points in it are counted regardless of how you are currently playing, so you fulfill the Cup incidentally during regular activity.

Eight categories and scoring

There are eight active types of tasks, each with different rules for earning points:

  • Paths of glory – 1 point for glory points collected from foreign lords, foreign and Bloodcrow castles.
  • Tool Collector – 1 point for each collected attack/defense tool, 10 points for any crafted tool.
  • Forward, march – 1 point for each recruited soldier with minimum strength, 10 points for any soldier. Purchases from the Master Blacksmith also count.
  • Mastersmith – 1 point for rare, 2 points for epic, and 3 points for legendary crafted equipment.
  • Get well soon – 1 point for healing a soldier with minimum strength in the hospital.
  • What you can carry – 1 point for every 100 looted resources (total loot divided by 100; kingdom resources and rubies are also counted).
  • Soldier of fortune – 1 point for spinning the Wheel of Fortune in normal mode, 10 points in pro mode.
  • Dead or alive – 1 point for defeating the target lord from the task Suspicious Lady.

Rewards and level 70 threshold

The reward system broke at level 70. Since February 2023, players at level 70 and above (legendary levels) primarily receive silver and gold parts from the Cup:

  • Winner receives 4000 gold parts and 2500 silver parts.
  • Top 250 receives 2400 gold parts and 1500 silver parts.

Players below level 70 receive instead a classic mix: bags of materials, travel feathers, tickets, soldiers, tools, random heroes (rare to legendary), random gems, fusion catalysts, building tokens and upgrades, VIP points, and time as well as special units like Demonic Grin and Deadly Dread.

Leaderboard placements

The second set of rewards depends on how high you finish in your level group. The thresholds are the same for most categories:

  • Top 20 in level ranges 10–14 and 15–19.
  • Top 50 in ranges 20–24, 25–29, 30–49, and 50–69.
  • Top 250 in all legendary levels (70+).

Exceptions are Soldier of Fortune and Dead or Alive, where the top 50 is in all regular levels and top 250 in legendary ones. For the categories Tool Collector, Get well soon, What you can carry, and Soldier of Fortune, the leaderboard additionally shows only your own placement, not the positions of others.

Pro player tipAlign your active category with what you are already doing. When you get What you can carry, plan a raiding session on large targets, as 1 point for 100 resources can quickly add up to hundreds of points with a few fat attacks. For Tool Collector and Forward, march, your own production and recruitment are most beneficial (10 points per piece instead of 1).
Common mistakeIgnoring the leaderboard and only playing for points on the bar. The second set of rewards for placement (top 20/50/250) is often more valuable than the thresholds themselves, especially at legendary levels where silver and gold parts drop. If you are just below the top 50 or 250 threshold, a few targeted attacks can unlock significantly better rewards.
