Ice Championship
The Ice Championship is one of the four seasonal grand events that runs approximately once a month. You collect points by completing challenges and for reaching certain milestones, you receive powerful units, equipment, and tools with an ice theme.
How the Championship Works
The Ice Championship is a seasonal event available only when you are in Evergreen Glaciers. You collect points by completing challenges that do not change during the event and remain the same.
You earn points from four sources depending on what content you are currently playing: Nomads, Foreign Lords, Ravens, and Samurai. Once you reach a certain point threshold, you receive a reward. The more points you earn, the better the reward.
Ice Units
The main attraction of the championship is the powerful ice-themed units, which are among the strongest in the game:
- Frost Bowman and Bone Huntress as standard offensive units.
- Master versions of both, namely Ice Ranged and Ice Melee Beasts, as stronger variants.
For reference: in the rewards for levels 30-39, you can find, for example, 400 Frost Bowmen (54,000 ranged strength) and 400 Bone Huntresses (58,000 melee strength). Note that these units consume a lot of food without a bakery.
Tools and Equipment
- Whalebone Ram reduces gate defense.
- Bone Ladder reduces wall defense.
- Shield Sled weakens ranged defenders.
- Banner of the Frost Warriors has a unique effect: it increases experience points from attacks.
In addition to tools, you will also receive equipment for the castellan (armor, weapon, helmet, artifact) and the hero Ice Flower. Note that the equipment set is level-bound; for example, the mentioned set is only for levels 30-39.
Gifts and Tickets
Part of the rewards includes gifts that cannot be purchased; you can only obtain them by collecting points. They contain tool packs (bone ladders, shield sleds, banners, and more).
Among the rewards, there are also Wheel of Fortune tickets, time skips, seasonal point boosters, and gems. For example, 84 tickets correspond to 28 spins of the Wheel of Fortune. Thus, the rewards chain one event into another.
