Bloodcrow Invasion

The Bloodcrow Invasion (formerly known as the War of the Crows) is a recurring event where enemy castles of bloodcrow lords appear around your castle. By conquering them, you collect glory and rewards. The event is available from level 40 and above.

Bloodcrow Invasion

How the event works

When the event starts, you will receive a message in your inbox and a camp will appear in front of your castle. On the world map around your castle, 10 bloodcrow lord castles will pop up, which look different from regular castles. They are not bots, but real players from other servers.

The goal is to gain glory by defeating these lords. Rewards during the event and at its end depend on the glory collected and your level. The alliance reward is locked until you defeat a bloodcrow lord in a single attack for a certain number of glory points.

Bloodcrow Lords and Their Defense

Each castle has its own defense and level, which adjusts to yours. The number of defenders depends on the chosen difficulty, the number of unlocked royal buildings, and the level and number of royal tools and units.

  • When you defeat a lord, his castle will disappear for 30 minutes to 1 hour and then be replaced by a new one with different defense.
  • The defense may occasionally change even while you have an attack on the way, but this is rare.
  • Always send a spy first and read the exact layout so you don't waste units.

Difficulties

As of June 30, 2022, the event has 12 difficulties. Five of them are free and unlock automatically: Classic, Easy, Easy+, Intermediate, and Intermediate+. The other six require completing achievements or paying rubies for that run. The hardest Archmaster is always locked and can only be temporarily unlocked for 55,000 rubies.

The Classic mode is suitable when you mainly want gold and silver pieces for the Master Blacksmith. The rewards in Classic remain the same as in the older version.

Dethroning

Legendary players can so-called dethrone bloodcrow lords. For Khan's tables, medals, samurai tokens, silver or gold pieces, or rubies, you can exile or fortify the lord.

  • Exile works like a defeat without cooldown, only reducing the number of soldiers by 0 to 10%. The castle will immediately be replaced by another, randomly stronger or weaker.
  • Fortification adds 520 to 1000 defenders (most commonly around 760), thus increasing the number of soldiers by about 20 to 40%.

After dethroning, a Knight and a Guardian Shooter with statistics like royal units will be added to the castle. The cost of further dethroning increases and resets only after you defeat a bloodcrow lord.

Bloodcrow Treasures

Bloodcrow treasures are a set of equipment that you can win from this event or from the War of the Realms. The set includes nine pieces, including Scarelot's armor, Bloodcrow mace, Carrion Eater's helmet, Claw of Fate, Crow, Bloodcrow blood, Sapphire beak, Wing of Fury, and Blood Crystal.

The set bonuses for wearing multiple pieces on one commander range from +15% looted resources to +20% to +25% combat strength for melee and ranged units, up to +45% combat strength when attacking enemy courtyards with the full set.

Pro player tipBefore each attack on a bloodcrow lord, send a spy. The defense varies from castle to castle, and a blind attack will cost you unnecessary losses. Call Classic mode when you are looking for gold and silver pieces for the Master Blacksmith.
Common mistakeSpending rubies to unlock higher difficulties or for dethroning without being able to defeat even the basic one. Dethroning also becomes more expensive with each repetition, and its effect does not stack.
