Winter Championship

The Winter Championship is one of the four seasonal Grand Events that rotate every month. The first took place from December 15, 2015, to January 16, 2016. You earn points by completing tasks in four sub-events and exchange them for frost-themed soldiers, equipment, and tools.

How the Championship Works

The Winter Championship is one of the Grand Events and takes place only in Everwinter Glacier - you cannot start it anywhere else. You earn points by completing challenges in four sub-events: Nomads, Foreign Lords, Blood Ravens, and Samurai. The tasks are always the same and do not change, so you know in advance what to expect and how to prepare.

As you collect points, you gradually unlock reward levels - the more points, the better the rewards. The character representing the event looks the same as in the Nobility Contest.

Soldiers and Equipment

The main attraction is the new, very powerful soldiers for their time. From the rewards, you can obtain Frost Bowmen (54000 ranged strength) and Bone Huntress (58000 melee strength), plus their master versions Master Frost Bowman (39690 ranged) and Master Bone Huntress (45325 melee). Be careful with food consumption: each type without a bakery consumes 1600 and 1225 food per hour, respectively.

The equipment from this event is intended only for level 30-39 - armor, weapon, helmet, and artifact in a frost style, along with the hero Ice Flower and castle gems (e.g., Gem of Rampart level 6 for +6% soldiers on walls).

Tools with Special Properties

The event also includes themed siege tools, which you can either earn for points or buy in ruby offers:

  • Whalebone Ram: reduces gate defense.
  • Bone Ladder: reduces wall defense.
  • Shield Sled: reduces the strength of ranged defenders.
  • Banner of the Frost Warriors: uniquely increases experience from attacks - in the total reward package, it provides up to 14000% additional XP.

Some tools you will also receive as gifts that cannot be purchased - only collected through points.

Reward Overview (Level 30-39)

For the points collected, you will receive, among other things:

  • 84 tickets = 28 spins of the Wheel of Fortune
  • Time jump packs (10x 10 min, 10x 30 min, 10x 1 h, 10x 5 h, 10x 24 h)
  • 325x Whalebone Ram (total -4875% gate defense), 325x Bone Ladder (-4875% wall defense), 325x Shield Sled
  • 700x Banner of the Frost Warriors (total 14000% additional XP)
  • 400x Frost Bowman, 400x Bone Huntress, 245x Master Frost Bowman, 245x Master Bone Huntress
  • Season point boosters (100% for 18 h and 100% for 6 h) and a range of gifts with tools
Pro player tipBefore the championship starts, boost your food production or maintain a bakery - the new Frost Bowmen and Bone Huntress consume 1600 food per hour per type, and without support, they will quickly deplete your supplies.
Common mistakeBetting on event equipment above level 39 - it is exclusively intended for lords 30-39, so higher players gain nothing from it.
