Daily Quests and Bonuses

Daily quests and login bonuses are the easiest source of accelerators (time skips), tools, and troops in the game — and many players unnecessarily ignore them. In just a few minutes a day, you can click through rewards that you would otherwise have to buy. Here’s an overview of how both work and what you can squeeze out of them.

How Daily Quests Work

You can find daily quests in the window that pops up right after you log in. There are a total of 12 and they work in tiers:

Each completed quest gives a reward.
For every 3 completed quests (3, 6, 9), you receive an additional bonus set of rewards.
For completing all 12 quests, you always receive 100 rubies.

Rewards vary by level and day — you will receive accelerators, strong troops (such as veteran units or traveling knights), tools, and resources. The quests have names like Dust and Sand, Ice and Snow, or Small Gifts. Some quests are only for players level 70 and above.

Examples of Specific Quests

Quests are simple tasks that you are doing anyway:

Show your face — log in once a day.
Deep pockets — spend at least 1 ruby.
All that glitters is gold — collect a specified amount of taxes (for L70 about 5,540).
Behind closed doors — spy on 5 targets (they do not have to be different).
Law and order — defeat the castle of the marauding baron (for L70 level 25+).
Recruit troops — recruit at least one soldier.
Articulate — write a message in the alliance chat.

The bonus sets for 3/6/9 quests contain more accelerators, piles of battering rams and ladders, castle gate reinforcements, and at 9 quests, a random epic piece of equipment or gem.

Daily Login Bonus

This is something different from quests. Once a day (and twice on the seventh day in a row that you log in), you can choose one of 3 rewards. It works similarly to the Mission post, but you do not pay coins for it. Additionally:

You receive the second bonus when you are in an alliance.
You receive the third bonus when you have an active VIP.

You can open the login bonus only when you are inside your castle — hover down to the Overview icon, Management will appear, and there select Login Bonus Chest.

What Drops from the Login Bonus

Rewards from the login bonus are diverse:

Tools (offensive and defensive) and troops (offensive and defensive).
VIP time (from 5 minutes to 1 day) and VIP points (40 to 395).
Accelerators (from 1-minute to 5-hour).
Equipment (from common to epic) and gems (level 1 to 4).
Resources, at legendary levels also resources from the kingdom.
Tax collectors, Marauders, decorations, rubies, and Overseers for 1 to 3 days.

Pro player tipFocus mainly on completing all 12 quests — those 100 rubies daily are a steady income that you won't get for free elsewhere. Don't forget to claim the login bonus twice on the seventh day in a row.

Common mistakeClosing the quest window right after logging in and then dealing with rubies as if they were scarce. Most quests (logging in, recruiting, messaging in chat, spying) you will complete incidentally during normal gameplay.
