Fusion Forge
The Fusion Forge (translated as Synthesis Forge in the game) unlocks at level 70 and is used to upgrade decorations: you combine two decorations and a catalyst, and the target decoration gains higher public order. It is not a building, but a separate interface with four tabs - fusion forge, catalyst overview, synthesis coin market, and ruby market. It sounds appealing, but it has hard limits: without better source decorations, you won't get past about 3,600 public order per piece.
What You Need for Fusion
One fusion consumes:
- Source decoration - it will be consumed in the fusion.
- Target decoration - its public order will increase.
- Catalyst for decorations - it is also consumed; its level limits how high you can go.
- Synthesis energy, synthesis coins, and kingdom resources - coins and resources can be replaced with rubies.
The level of the forge itself can be increased for decorative dust (cost = 10 dust x new level) - this increases the synthesis energy capacity, its regeneration, and bonus fusion XP. The maximum level of the forge is 336.
Assembling and disassembling catalysts
You can assemble catalysts directly in the forge for decorative dust and synthesis energy, but only at levels 21 to 60. Higher (up to 70) can only be purchased from the Master Blacksmith. Unneeded catalysts can be disassembled: you will receive decorative dust equal to 2x the level of the catalyst and pay 300 synthesis energy:
| Catalyst Level | Disassembly Cost (synthesis energy) | Decorative Dust Gained |
|---|---|---|
| 21 | 300 | 42 |
| 30 | 300 | 60 |
| 40 | 300 | 80 |
| 50 | 300 | 100 |
| 60 | 300 | 120 |
| 70 | 300 | 140 |
| 80 | 300 | 160 |
Until February 2023, catalysts dropped from events (Empire Wars, samurais, nomads); today, for players 70+, the only source is the Master Blacksmith.
Price lists for markets and Master Blacksmith
Synthesis Coin Market: decorative dust for 8 synthesis coins; conversely, 6 synthesis coins for 1 decorative dust.
Ruby Market: decorative dust 700 rubies, synthesis coins 100 rubies, Fusion Park decoration 3,000 rubies, Fusion Garden 9,000 rubies.
Master Blacksmith (for silver coins) is by far the most advantageous source:
| Goods | Price | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| source decoration (for fusion only) | 500 silver coins | no limit |
| 10 synthesis coins | 25 silver coins | no limit |
| 10 decorative dust | 30 silver coins | no limit |
| catalyst level 50 | 1,250 silver coins | 5x per offer |
| catalyst level 60 | 2,700 silver coins | 3x per offer |
| catalyst level 70 | 5,000 silver coins | 1x per offer |
Hard Limits of the System
Why the fusion forge is not a miracle:
- The maximum craftable catalyst is level 60, purchasable 70 - this, along with the maximum forge level of 336, means a ceiling around 3,600 public order per decoration.
- Above a source decoration with 3,250+ public order, you will only get +5 order for the fusion - a net loss.
- Events typically give out decorations with higher order than you can even produce in the fusion forge.
Real use: to consolidate a pile of old weak decorations into a few stronger pieces, balance the order between events, and utilize the silver coins that are piling up at the Master Blacksmith.
Quick Start Guide
- Buy dust from the Master Blacksmith (30 silver for 10) and synthesis coins (25 silver for 10) - ignore the ruby market.
- Use either 500 silver pieces from the Master Blacksmith or old event decorations that no longer have space as source decorations.
- Get catalysts level 50-70 from the Master Blacksmith according to limits; assembling in the forge is only worthwhile when you have a surplus of dust.
- Let fusion energy regenerate - upgrading the forge for dust increases both capacity and regeneration, but invest in it only if you are fusing regularly.
