Khan's Guard and Gnomads

Khan's Guard and Gnomads are event units that cannot be obtained through normal recruitment. They are associated with the Nomad Invasion and older festive events. Here you will find out how to acquire them and what they are good for.

Khan's Guard

Khan's Guard is a versatile melee combat unit with high attack power but only average defense. It is a pure attacker, not a defender. You can obtain it exclusively during the Nomad Invasion in two ways:

• By purchasing from the Khan's Tablets merchant: 195 tablets for 25 units of the guard.
• By completing the time-limited quest Tablets of Power (1/2).

It was introduced to the game on July 9, 2013.

Gnomad Archer and Warrior

• Gnomad Archer is a ranged attack unit.
• Gnomad Warrior is a melee attack unit.

Both have the same combat properties as Deathly Horror, making them decent attackers. They were originally obtainable by collecting points during the Merry Moon Festivities event (November 27, 2017, to January 2, 2018).

Note that Gnomads are currently unavailable

In 2018, the reward system of the mentioned event was changed, and the gnomad units were removed from it. This made them unobtainable. The only way to theoretically acquire them today is through special offers, vouchers, and one-time gifts in the game. If you don't have them, do not plan to use them.

How to use event attackers

• Khan's Guard is a pure attacker. Deploy it for looting and during raids, not for defending the castle.
• Due to its weaker defense, do not leave the guard standing on the walls, as you will lose it unnecessarily.
• Gnomads, if you have them from before, should be considered as a supplement to your regular attacking setup against equally strong targets.
