You receive the Frozen Bard for completing the 10th adventure map (robber baron map adventure). It is therefore a reward for progressing in the adventure part of the game, not for purchase or events. Those who traverse the maps against the robber barons will naturally come across it.

The story of Deep Freeze

A group of villagers reportedly found a frozen man in a crevice while crossing a glacier, who had apparently been lying there for many years. They chipped him out of the ice and carried him to the village, where he slowly thawed. It turned out that he was a bard, and he thanked them for his rescue with a song. The villagers were initially flattered, but the bard did not stop singing. He belted out one song after another for days until they had had enough and threw him back into the crevice. To this day, he is said to be waiting there until someone frees him so he can finally sing again.

What Is It Good For
