Demonic Units
Deathly Horror is a very powerful ranged attacker that can crush most close and ranged defenders. Its close combat counterpart is Demon Horror. Unlike ice units, these demonic units are always available and are a staple of offensive compositions.
Where to Obtain Them
Deathly Horror has several sources, so you can reliably replenish your supply:
- Purchase for Silver Parts – 100 silver parts for 100 units, maximum 34 packages per week.
- Nobility Contest as a reward.
- Random daily login bonus.
- Random special offers.
- Exchange in Fire Peaks – 50,500 glass for 5 units.
- Reward from Honor Rankings.
It was added to the game very early: announcement on December 20, 2012, official launch on January 7, 2013.
Combat Properties of Deathly Horror
Deathly Horror is purely a ranged attacker with the following values per unit:
- Ranged Attack: 162
- Ranged Defense: 24, close defense: 15
- Food Consumption: 5/h, loot: 40, speed: 28
There are units with the same base values, such as Master Archer, Gnomad Archer, or Star-Spangled Crossbowman. However, Master Archer has lower food consumption compared to them, making it more economical if you have a choice.
Demon Horror, Close Combat Counterpart
Demon Horror is the close combat version and forms a pair with Deathly Horror:
- Close Attack: 185
- Close Defense: 19, ranged defense: 5
- Food Consumption: 5/h, loot: 35, speed: 28
In mixed offensive waves, both units complement each other: Horror pressures close defenders, while Deathly Horror takes down ranged ones. They share acquisition sources (Nobility Contest, Kingdom's League, offers), so you can build them concurrently.
Veteran Variants
Stronger veteran versions drop from the Kingdom's League at the end of the season:
- Veteran Deathly Horror – 175 ranged attack, 26 ranged and 17 close defense, loot 50, food consumption 5/h.
- Veteran Demon Horror – 200 close attack, 21 close defense and 6 ranged, loot 45, food consumption 5/h.
Veteran versions have higher attack and loot with the same food consumption, so if you obtain them from the League, they are definitely a better choice for offense than the basic variants.
