The Royal Coin Chest is an attack tool that does nothing in battle, but increases what you take home from it. It boosts the amount of glory gained and Khan Plates plundered, so it belongs with flags and chests that you take to attack for the reward, not for the result. It's an event tool - don't look for it in the Siege Workshop. If you only tap something occasionally, it's more of a decoration, but once you're chasing glory in the rankings or farming plates from nomads, it multiplies every successful attack.
How to use it
Take it only to attacks you'll win without it. You collect glory only in attack, not in defense, and Khan Plates are looted from nomad and khan camps, so it helps you most in attacks on players during glory tournaments and during nomad invasions. Put it in an attack where you're sure of the result, because it won't help you win. It's completely useless in castle defense - you can't put it on walls.
What to combine it with
First build a composition that can actually break through the target, meaning battering rams, ladders, shields and strong attack units, and add the chest only as the last piece when you have a free slot. With nomads it pairs well with the Large or Giant Nomad Plate Chest and the Elite Nomad Rope Ladder, which also add plates; in attacks on players, pair it with glory flags like the Horse Tail Banner. Never put it instead of a tool that saves you units.
