Reputation booster – Goodgame Empire

Reputation booster

Defensive

A must-have for anyone who takes Berimond seriously - it doesn't kill on its own, but multiplies points for won battles, so you only activate it when you are unleashing attacks.

Quick overview

TypeDefensive

Reputation Boosting is purely a Berimond affair - outside of the ongoing Berimond event, it is of no use to you. Its sole purpose is to inflate the reputation you earn for defeating enemy camps during the event. And since reputation is exactly the currency you use to purchase Berimond rewards, every additional percentage directly translates into how much you take home at the end. I classify it among the "silent workhorses" - it doesn't make you a better fighter, but a more efficient point collector. For anyone going all out in Berimond, it is one of the tools you want to have ready.

How to use it

Use it only during the Berimond event, specifically on raids against camps that yield reputation. The point is to activate it before you embark on a series of attacks - not on a single isolated camp, but on a full raid where you unleash attack after attack. Keep in mind that it boosts the yield from victories, not your attacking performance, so deploy it on camps that you already know you can handle without any issues. The logic is simple: the more camps you destroy during its effect, the more additional reputation you will gather.

What to combine it with

It belongs to the pure Berimond setup, where you pair it with tools and boosts that increase attack and reduce unit losses - these will ensure that you destroy the camps, and the Reputation Boosting will then maximize the points from those victories. It works excellently in conjunction with anything that speeds up or reduces the cost of attacks during the event, as more attacks in the same time means more reputation multiplied by this bonus. If you have other Berimond bonuses for reputation available, try stacking them - however, it's best to verify directly in the game how exactly the effects are calculated to avoid any surprises.

Pro player tipPlan its activation for a day or block when you have the most time and the most units ready for a series of attacks. Activating it and then stepping away from the game for a few hours is a wasted opportunity. Experienced players save up their attacking power and then "unleash" it all at once during its effect - from one boost, you can earn significantly more reputation than if you attacked sporadically throughout the event.
Common mistakeThe most common mistake is to let it run idle - activating it and then not attacking, or attacking only sporadically. The bonus from victories won't earn you a single point until you actually defeat a camp, so every minute of its effect without an attack is wasted. Another classic is trying to use it outside of the Berimond event, where it has no effect.
