The Golden Reputation Boost is a highly focused item - it revolves entirely around the reputation from the Berimond invasion. When you destroy camps during Berimond, you gain reputation for them, and your ranking in the event is calculated based on that. This tool significantly increases the value of the reputation from defeated camps, so you will earn more points in the ranking for the same camps. It is categorized as a defensive buff, which is a bit confusing for something that purely evaluates the results of your attacks - don't worry about it and just consider it a score multiplier. My opinion: if you are serious about playing Berimond and aiming for a ranking, this is one of the few tools that directly boosts your score, not just makes fighting easier.

How to use it

It only makes sense during the Berimond invasion - outside of this event, it has nothing to boost and is useless. You will get more out of it the more camps you defeat under it, so deploy it during a period when you plan to hit camps in bulk, not when you occasionally poke at one. It's all about the volume of defeated targets. Ideally, activate it when you have your units and time together and are preparing to clear camps in one go.

What to combine it with

It belongs to the pure Berimond setup. Combine it with tools that speed up and reduce the cost of clearing camps and strengthen attacking units in Berimond - these will increase the number of camps you can defeat, and this will then multiply the reputation you extract from each of them. It works as a multiplier over the rest of the package, so the more camps fall under it, the bigger difference it will make. There's no point in using it solo; anchor it in a package of other event buffs.

Pro player tipPair it with buffs that shorten attack times and save units - every saved turn means an additional camp from which this tool will extract more reputation. Keep your guided units and supplies so that you don't have to wait long between camps. Smooth clearing without downtime will yield the most from it.

Common mistakeThe most common mistake is confusing it for a universal reputation buff and using it outside the Berimond invasion, where it does absolutely nothing - it works exclusively on reputation from camps during this event. Another classic is to deploy it but then go slowly and defeat only a few camps under it. It multiplies what you extract from the camps, so if you defeat few, most of its potential will remain untapped.
