Protection Mode (Peace)
Protection Mode is a purchase in the Royal Market that grants you immunity against attacks and sabotage from other players. You buy peace for building with rubies, but it comes with a series of restrictions. Here’s exactly what you gain and what you lose.
What Protection Mode Gives You
Once activated, you are immune to all attacks from players including sabotage. You can still freely attack NPCs (except for Blood Ravens and Foreign Castles). However, immunity only applies 24 hours after purchase, not immediately.
Note that immunity does not protect all assets. It does not apply to resource villages, metropolises, capitals, laboratories, monuments, and royal towers - these can still be attacked.
What You Pay For (Restrictions)
- Slowed recruitment of all offensive units and tools.
- You cannot send support to alliance teammates.
- You cannot send real attacks on players' castles, Foreign Lords, or Blood Ravens.
- You cannot send sabotage to any player.
- You cannot conquer any assets - occupied or unoccupied, outposts or resource islands.
- You will not receive any rewards from weekly honor rankings.
You can send event attacks on players' castles, but not on those who also have Protection Mode active.
Prices and Duration
The price increases with the length of protection:
- 7 days - 5000 rubies.
- 14 days - 7500 rubies.
- 21 days - 10000 rubies.
- 60 days (2 months) - 20000 rubies.
Protection Mode cannot be stacked - the maximum is 2 months per use. After expiration, you must wait 2 days (cooldown) before you can activate it again. No refunds are given upon cancellation.
Berimond and Other Kingdoms
Protection Mode in the Battle for Berimond is completely separate from that in other kingdoms. When you deactivate it in Berimond by attacking a target, you only lose protection in Berimond. However, if you deactivate it in any other kingdom (Great Empire, Eternal Winter, Scorching Sands, Fiery Peaks, Stormy Isles), you lose protection simultaneously in all those kingdoms.
