The Glacial Amazon Huntress is a defensive markswoman and one of the best things you can put on the walls against enemy shooting. Ranged defense 357 is a number that ordinary units from the barracks don't even come close to. Against melee she holds 138, which is a lot for a ranged unit, and she consumes no food. She does have ranged attack 55, but compared to most attacking ranged units that is little, so her place is in castle defense.
How to use it
Deploy her in castle defense against attackers who rely on ranged units. Attacking ranged units are measured in battle exactly against ranged defense, and against 357 they get through only with difficulty, so the Huntress catches attacks that would otherwise go through. Because she consumes no food, you can keep a lot of them in the garrison and your food production won't notice. Melee defense 138 is above average for a markswoman, but she can't hold a strong melee attack on her own, for that you need specialized melee defenders. Attack 55 and loot 7 hint that outside of defense you won't find sensible work for her.
What to combine it with
The most natural partner is the Glacial Amazon Guardian from the same offer, who has 368 against melee and also eats nothing. The Huntress covers the ranged units, the Guardian the melee attacks, and the attacker then finds no weak spot to aim at. If you don't have the Guardian, another strong melee defender will do, for example the Veteran flame bearer with 196 against melee. Add defensive tools on the walls that raise the garrison's defense further. Feel free to mix in other strong defensive ranged units with her, they complement each other and the walls then hold even against big ranged onslaughts.
Weaknesses and what to avoid
Don't send her into the attack or to gather resources. Ranged attack 55 is weak against most attacking ranged units and loot 7 means she brings almost nothing from a raid, so you'd just risk losses of a unit that is hard to replace in defense. She isn't suited either as the only defender against an opponent who attacks mainly with melee units, there she can't use her strongest number. A common mistake is to build her without complementing melee defense, then the attacker sends melee soldiers and a wall of 138 per unit won't hold. And don't put her in side castles where nobody attacks, save her for castles that are really defended.
